Placerville Man Falls To His Death In Cedar Ridge

Sonora, CA — A worker from Placerville died after falling from a tree Tuesday afternoon in the Cedar Ridge area.
25-year-old Manuel Ventura-Gonzalez was employed by Mountain Enterprises and was contracted to conduct tree work for PG&E.
He was topping a tree near Dapple Gray Lane and Quarter Horse Drive when he fell an estimated 50 ft. to the ground.
Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office Spokesperson A.J. Ford says Ventura-Gonzalez died from impact wounds.
