Adele Arnold Named Tuolumne County’s New Chief Probation Officer

Sonora, CA — It was a passing of the torch this morning as retiring Tuolumne County Chief Probation Officer Shirley Juhl announced that California Superior Court Judge for Tuolumne County Eric DuTemple has appointed Adele Arnold to succeed Ms. Juhl effective July 1.

Ms. Arnold will come to the Mother Lode from Yreka in Siskiyou County where she has served as the county’s Chief Probation Officer. Ms. Arnold will bring over 18 years of experience in juvenile and adult probation. She has been responsible for the administration, planning, organization and management of both junvenile and adult probation in addition to the county’s youth corrections facility.

Ms. Arnold was appointed by Governor Schwarzenegger to serve as a member of the California Department of Corrections-Rehabilitation Corrections Standards Authority (C.S.A.) Board representing small probation departments.
