Sonora, CA — For the time being Tuolumne County Health Officer Dr. Todd Stolp reports there has not been a single case of swine flu in the county.
Dr. Stolp reports there are currently 13 confirmed cases in California, three in Sacramento.
Points to be stressed include extra hand washing with soap and water. If a fever persists and you experience a sore throat for an extended period of time, consult a physician with an exact description of your symptoms.
Dr. Stolp adds that if a case of swine flu is discovered in a school environment, chances are good the school would be closed for a week which is the time of the incubation process.
