Trinitas Up For Vote Tuesday

Sponsored by:

San Andreas, CA — The Trinitas golf development project in Wallace will go before the Calaveras County Supervisors Tuesday.

The meeting has been moved to the San Andreas Town Hall in anticipation of a large crowd. The developers, Michael and Michelle Nemee, are proposing to build a restaurant, a 30 unit lodging facility, designate 13 lots for single family homes, and receive permits for large events.

The proposal went before the Planning Commission on March 19th, and the final decision was split 2-2.

“Any number of things could happen,” says Interim Community Development Director Brent Harrington regarding Tuesday’s vote. “It could move forward, it could be denied, it could be modified.”

“It is very much up in the air as to what will happen,” he adds.

The meeting will begin at 9am.
