Monday Columbia Outbuildng Fire Quickly Extinguished

Columbia, CA — From arrival to containment it took fire crews only 12 minutes to extinguish an outbuilding fire at 22420 Gunsight Rd. Monday afternoon.
According to CAL Fire Communications Operator Peggy Sue Wagner the first unit arrived at 4:43pm with containment reached at 4:55pm.
Responding were a CAL Fire Battalion Chief, a CAL Fire engine, one engine from the Sonora City Fire Department and a breathing unit from Columbia College.
Cause of the fire and damage estimate have yet to be released by CAL Fire.
