“Passport Day” Coming To Tuolumne County
Sonora, CA — If you plan on traveling to either Canada or Mexico after the first of June and you don´t have a passport, this story is definitely for you.
According to Tuolumne County Clerk and Auditor-Controller Debi Russell you will need a passport effective June 1 and there will be a charge of $100. $75 will to to the State Department while the remaining $25 goes to the County Clerk´s Office. In addition you need to be a U.S. citizen to acquire a passport.
Saturday the County Clerk´s office on the main floor of the County Administration Building at 2 S. Green St. will be open from 10am until 3pm for “Passport Day.”
