Four Valley Springs Residents Die In Butte Plane Crash

Butte, MT — Valley Springs Dentist Dr. Michael Pullen, his wife Vanessa and two children, nine year old daughter Sydney and six year old son Chris, were four of the 14 that lost their lives in that private plane crash in Butte, Montana Sunday.

The plane crashed 500 feet from the Bert Mooney Airport in a cemetary.

Overcrowding may have been the cause of the crash. According to the National Transportation Safety Board the single engine turboprop had 11 seats but there were 14 on board.

March has quickly become a catastrophic month for Calaveras County. The first day of the month three members of the Montgomery family, Kallie, Skye and Trenton of Mountain Ranch, lost their lives as a result of a morning accident on Mountain Ranch Rd. Also killed in that crash was 34 year old Jeremy Peters.
