Calaveras Foursome Rescued

San Andreas, CA — Four Calaveras County residents were rescued Monday morning at 8:20 by a search and rescue team from the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Department and the C.H.P.
Sunday evening Doug Butler of Mokelumne Hill, his 11 year old daughter Angelica and six year old son Dillon along with Shuanna Moreno, were listed as missing. They were discovered in a cabin in the Mokelumne River Canyon near Ponderosa Rd.
A C.H.P. helicopter flew the foursome out to Hwy 26 where they were reunited with family and friends. None of the foursome suffered any injuries.
