Sonora, CA — Don’t be surprised when you spot a number of CAL Fire firefighters at the intersection of Mono Way and Tuolumne Rd. between 9am and 3pm today.
It’s "Fill The Boot" Day for the benefit of the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Proceeds raised during the street-side campaign will help support MDA services and research programs including the MDA’s clinic at U.C. Davis. Since 1954 firefighters around the county have raised over $200 million for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
