Reward Offered For Information About Post Office Burglary

Chinese Camp, CA — The United States Postal Service is offering up to a $10,000 reward for information regarding a burglary at the Chinese Camp Post Office.
Post Office Spokesperson Hilary Smith says an unknown amount of mail was taken sometime Tuesday evening, as well as postal equipment. She adds that all of the customers that the Chinese Camp location delivers to have been notified of the situation.
Burglarizing a United States Post Office is a federal offense, and is punishable up to five years in prison.
