Minor Injuries From Head On Collision

Sonora, CA — Only minor injuries were reported following a head on collision Thursday night in the 400 block of S. Washington St.
The Sonora PD says 16-year-old Tara Vonherrmann allowed her vehicle to drift into the opposing lane and collided with a car driven by 29-year-old Jeffery Scott of Sonora. The accident blocked S. Washington for over an hour.
Vonherrmann was transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center because of a complaint of pain. Scott complained of back and neck pain but declined medical treatment. Two young children in his vehicle were properly restrained and did not sustain injuries.
