Sponsored by:

Sonora, CA – A local man who ignored a domestic violence restraining order stemming from an alleged battery on the July 4 holiday was jailed with a $57,500 bond.

According to Tuolumne County Sheriff’s spokesperson Sgt. Andrea Benson, last Friday evening, deputies were called to a Twain Harte home on Tuolumne Road North after 40-year-old Robert Walski stormed into the home in violation of the order. She adds that Walski was uncooperative during the arrest.

He was booked into the Tuolumne County Jail for threatening a crime with intent to terrorize, domestic battery, violating a court order to prevent domestic violence, and obstructing peace officers.
