Three Killed In Calaveras County Headon Collision

San Andreas, CA — Three Mountian Ranch residents were killed in a two vehicle headon collision Sunday during the noon hour.

The deceased have been identified as 22 year old Kallie Montgomery (the driver), 34 year old Jeremy Peters and 17 year old Skye Montgomery. 16 year old Trenton Montgomery of Mountain Ranch is listed in very critical condition at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.

The four were riding in a eastbound 2002 Chevrolet. According to the CHP report the vehicle hydroplaned on the wet surface of Mountain Ranch Rd. west of Michel Rd. A 2001 Toyota pickup driven by 26 year old Shenandoah Roberts, also of Mountain Ranch, driving westbound collided with the Chevy on the passengers side of the vehicle.

Roberts suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Mark Twain-St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Calaveras County has now suffered four traffic related fatalities this year.
