Sonora Man Arrested For Stealing Car

Sonora, CA — A man left his vehicle running on W. Bradford St. in Sonora Tuesday afternoon to help someone into a residence, and when he returned it was missing.
Less than an hour later, a Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Deputy noticed the 2002 Chevy Malibu heading northbound on S. Washington St. The driver is identified as Robert Donnell Haire IV, 52, Sonora. He is described by the Police Department as having an extensive criminal history.
Haire was booked into Tuolumne County Jail.
