Sonora, CA– Two Tuolumne County Supervisors attended their last board meeting yesterday and were honored for their many years of service.
District Three Supervisor Teri Murrison reflected on her 4 years on the board and said, “We’ve had a pretty rugged course of homework every week. We read, we digest things thoroughly. We do a lot of extra research, but it’s for love of the job and love of the people. I so appreciate the outpouring of support and the affirmation that you’ve given this supervisor.”
District Two Supervisor Paolo Maffei Maffei spent 8 years serving the board and told them, “I just want to thank everybody that I’ve been associated with. I appreciate the fact that they work hard and they’ve been supportive. They’ve been honest and decent with me frankly, and I just want to say thank you.”
Paolo Maffei and Teri Murrison will officially end their terms January 3rd. Maffei will be replaced by Randy Hanvelt and Murrison will be replaced by Evan Royce.
