Man Arrested For Valley Springs Stabbing
Valley Springs, CA– Calaveras County Sheriff’s Detectives arrested a man today suspected of stabbing a man with a knife at a Valley Springs restaurant earlier this week.
After a Sheriff’s Office investigation, Jack McCamly was taken into custody and charged with assaulting 30 year old John Lee Miller with a deadly weapon at Lee’s Pig Out BBQ Monday night.
According to witness accounts, there was possibly an argument between Miller and McCamly prior to the stabbing. Miller suffered a knife wound and cuts to his upper torso during the incident and was transported to the hospital for his injuries.
Miller was released from St. Joseph’s Hospital yesterday. The case is still under investigation. Jack McCamly is being held at Calaveras County Jail in lieu of $40,000 bond.
