Jamestown Residential Project Approved

Sponsored by:

Jamestown, CA– The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors approved a revised plan for a 218 lot Dry Creeks Subdivision in Jamestown. The project site is located on the north side of Golf Links Road, east of Jamestown Road, and west of McKibbin Drive.

An original Dry Creeks subdivision proposal was approved by the Supervisors in 2007, and it has now been revised due to the changing market conditions. The new plan calls for 213 single family residential lots, of which 149 will be age restricted (55 years and older). The previous plan called for 22.2 acres of open space and the revised plan calls for 29.5 acres. Previous plans for condos and apartments have been replaced by an Assisted Living Center. Many of the amenities in the previous proposal have been retained, including recreational facilities, a trail system, Community Center, and possibly a small store.
The Supervisors approved the amended project at Tuesday’s meeting.

The developers are Ronald and Leslie Robinson. The representative speaking on behalf of the project at Tuesday’s meeting was Ron Kopf.
