Warming Station For Twain Harte Residents Moved

Sponsored by:

Mi-Wuk Village, CA– The continuing power outages in Twain Harte have extended the need for a warming station in the area.

Yesterday, a warming station was set up at the Twain Harte Community Services District Fire Station. Today starting at 4:30 pm, that warming station will be moved to the Word of Life Fellowship Hall in Mi-Wuk Village located at 24630 Highway 108.

According to Kathleen Rustrum with the Tuolumne County Office of Emergency Services, this new location will be able to accommodate more people.

The Mother Lode Chapter of the American Red Cross will continue to be on hand to provide assistance to residents. The warming station will remain open until the power is restored, so residents will be able to stay overnight.
