Mi Wuk Village, CA — A Sonora man was arrested after leading CHP officers on a high speed chase.

Kenny accelerated and traveled approximately 40 mph through the town and illegally drove through several stop signs, according to the CHP. Kenny later traveled onto Highway 108 and headed westbound. He traveled into the opposing lane of traffic on multiple occasions.

Kenny turned off onto a dirt road on the northern edge of Middle Camp Road west of Leisure Road. He later exited the vehicle and ran into a forested area. He was captured by officers approximately a half mile from the abandoned vehicle, minus his shirt and shoes. Kenny has been charged with felony failing to yield to a patrol vehicle, resisting arrest, driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license. The chase occurred early Tuesday morning, shortly before 1am.
