A series of storm systems will continue to move through northern California through Sunday.


The system moving through the Motherlode on Saturday will bring up to a half inch of rain.


A much stronger and wetter system will affect the Motherlode on Saturday night and Sunday.


Four to six inches of total rainfall is forecast in the Motherlode.


The National Weather Service indicates that snow levels will widely fluctuate from 5000 to 8000 feet.


The strongest winds are expected to be up to 30 to 40 mph in the central valley and up to 60 mph in the Sierra Nevada.


Improving weather is expected on Monday.
