Sonora, CA– Sierra Repertory Theatre has been selected as one of 12 Central Valley arts organizations to participate in the second phase of the James Irvine Foundation’s Arts Regional Initiative.
Sierra Rep will receive $350,000 over the next three years to improve marketing, box office operations and patron services, build a financial reserve and strengthen connections to professional artists.
Sierra Repertory Theatre Board President Bill Green said, “We’re simply delighted that SRT has been selected. We think it’s important recognition from the Irvine Foundation. We don’t think they would have continued to encourage us and support us in this way if they didn’t have whole lot of confidence in where SRT is, and how we can get even better in the future.”
