Fire Near Coulterville Contained

Coulterville, CA– Firefighters have contained a vegetation fire that started around 1:40 pm today on Highway 49 at the Tuolumne County/Mariposa County line.
Multiple Cal Fire resources had responded to the 13 acre fire near Coulterville, including air attack from Columbia. Firefighters will remain on scene for the next 3-4 hours for mop up. No structures were damaged and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
