Calaveras County Fair Featured In PBS Special

Angels Camp, CA– The Calaveras County Fair and Jumping Frog Jubilee will be featured on an upcoming PBS television series called “California’s Golden Fairs.” Hosted by Huell Houser, the series will explore the importance of fairs and showcase a variety of interesting people and events held at California fairs each year.
A “sneak preview” will air on October 7th at 8:00 pm and October 12th at 7:00 pm, with the series slated for the Spring of 2011. The KVIE “sneak preview” will also be shown in the Los Angeles, Fresno, San Bernadino and San Diego areas.
