12th Annual Health Fair This Saturday
Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital in San Andreas will host their 12th annual Health Fair this Saturday from 7am-Noon.
Vice President of Facilities and Project Development, Larry Cornish, was Thursday’s “Newsmaker of the Day”.
The event will take place at the hospital where family events and activities are planned including a 5K fun run/walk at 8:30am as well as live music, food and a bounce house for the children.
Dozens of community groups will have free informational booths regarding health, nutirition, fitness and senior services. Various free health screenings will be offered as well.
Adult flu shots and pnumemonia vaccinations will be administered throughout the morning. Bone density screenings cost $10. Blood analysis will be done for just $30.
Breakfast will also be made available that will benefit the Lions Club.

The “Newsmaker of the Day” is heard each weekday morning on AM 1450 KVML at 6:47, 7:47 and 8:47am
