Body Found In Tuolumne Identified

Tuolumne, CA– A woman’s body that was found near Cottonwood Road in Tuolumne August 26th has been identified. According to Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Detectives, the woman was in her 40’s and her name is currently being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The circumstances surrounding her death are still being investigated. Anyone with any information regarding this case is being asked to contact the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office Detective Unit at (209) 694-2900.
