Calaveras County Fair Theme Announced

Angels Camp, CA– The Calaveras County Fair & Jumping Frog Jubilee has announced their theme for 2011.
“Pirates of the Carrots and Beans” was approved by the Calaveras County Fair’s Board of Directors last month. Next year’s theme will use the pirate concept to create fun and excitement celebrating such programs as “Calaveras Grown” home and sustainable gardens and products.
A community garden will also be featured. Children will have the opportunity to help plant a vegetable garden before and during the Calaveras County Fair that runs May 19-22. The harvest will be donated to the Calaveras County Food bank.
