Calaveras Visitors Bureau Wins Award
Angels Camp, CA– The Calaveras Visitors Bureau has won another award. In addition to bringing home Gold for the Calaveras County Exhibit at the California State Fair, the Calaveras Visitors Bureau also received a People’s Choice Award for the Most Educational Exhibit. “This is truly an honor because it’s the fairgoers who voted for us. Credit must be given to our many volunteers who staff the booth and give out all kinds of information and answer many questions about Calaveras County,” stated Calaveras Visitors Bureau Executive Director, Lisa Mayo.
The Calaveras County Exhibit is a major marketing component of the Calaveras Visitors Bureau marketing plan. The Visitors Center has seen fair attendees who came to Calaveras because of seeing the exhibit at the California State Fair.
