Jamestown, CA– There was a power outage this afternoon in the Jamestown and Sonora area. According to PG & E, the outage occurred around 1:30 pm affecting approximately 2,350 Jamestown residents and around 150 Sonora residents.
Power was restored to all but a handful of customers by 3:20 pm. PG & E says the outage was caused by someone who was trimming a tree over power lines on their property. A tree limb fell into the power line causing the outage.
