California Propositions Poll

Sponsored by:

Sacramento, CA — The latest Field Poll finds that the state ballot measure to legalize marijuana is lacking support. 48 percent are against the measure while 44 percent are in favor.

Voters are also opposing Proposition 23, California’s greenhouse gas reduction law that could suspend AB32, 48 to 36 percent. Prop 25 is getting support with 65 percent strongly in favor while 20 percent are opposed. This proposition calls for requiring only a majority vote to approve the state budget while keeping two thirds vote to increase taxes.

Prop 18, the 11 billion dollar state bond measure to fund water supply and protection facilities is getting the majority of support with 42 percent approval and 32 percent opposed.  These measures will be on the ballot in November.
