Calaveras Boy Saves Grandfather

Valley Springs, CA — A three year old Valley Springs boy is credited for possibly saving his grandfather’s life over the holiday weekend.
The CHP says 58 year old Richard Brown and his three year old grandson Tristan Vickerman were riding on a 4-wheeler ATV on private property in Valley Springs when three year old Tristan took hold of the accelerator that caused the ATV to collide with a fence.
Although his grandfather’s injuries were moderate, he was experiencing blood loss and was unable to dial 9-1-1 on his cell phone.
That is when the younger Vickerman ran home a tenth of a mile to notify his grandmother of the accident.
