Experimental Meeting Schedule

Sponsored by:

Sonora, CA – The Tuolumne County Supervisors voted to change their meeting schedule, with the understanding that it will be reassessed in a couple of months.

The Supervisors voted 4-1 today to start meeting twice a month, at least through the summer. Supervisor Dick Pland was the lone vote against, citing concerns that it will reduce the public’s access to county government.

The meeting schedule is experimental and will be reassessed at the September 7th meeting.

The decision to reduce the meeting schedule is in response to reduced county staffing and less development projects coming before the Board of Supervisors. The meetings will fall on the first and third Tuesdays.
