Arnold’s Independence Day

Sponsored by:

The Greater Arnold Business Association hosted the 29th Annual Arnold Independence Day Parade on Saturday, July 3rd, on Highway 4 in Arnold.

This year’s parade may have been the biggest yet, in terms of both the amount of entries and spectators.

The parade theme this year was, “America the Beautiful”, with Ginny and Bill Kafka as this year’s Grand Marshals. The Kafka’s are local residents who do an enormous amount of volunteer work.

This patriotic celebration drew an exuberant crowd along Highway 4 in downtown Arnold.

Entries included floats, marching units, auto groups, horses, fire trucks, family groups, clubs, service organizations, the radio stations of KVML, KKBN, Star 92.7 and local business floats. The parade lasted just under 90 minutes.

The Greater Arnold Business Association is a non-profit association of businesses in the greater Arnold area, working together for the betterment of the business community, its residents and vistors.
