Teen Arrested For Supplying Drugs

Sonora, CA — The Sonora Police Department has arrested a Sonora teen for allegedly supplying prescription drugs to juveniles.
Four teens were arrested earlier this week, ages 16-17, after they were found to be under the influence of prescription drugs at a residence in the 500 block of N. Stewart Street.
One of the juveniles, a 17-year-old unidentified male, allegedly attacked an officer after being taken to the hospital for treatment.
19-year-old Zakary Howerton of Sonora has been arrested for supplying the prescription medication and faces multiple charges. The case has been forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office.
