Car Hits School Bus

Sonora, CA — A man suffered minor injuries yesterday afternoon when his car struck a school bus in Sonora.
The CHP says 78-year-old John Rand of Sonora hit a bus that was slowing down on Mono Way near the intersection of Mountain View.
Rand was taken to Sonora Regional Medical Center. No one on the bus was hurt.
The bus was from the Tuolumne County Office of Education and was carrying six students and two aids. The school bus had moderate rear bumper damage. The accident occurred around 2:30pm.
