Old Wards Ferry Realignment

Sonora, CA — A section of Old Wards Ferry Road will soon be closed for a period of 10 days.
Old Wards Ferry will be shut down from Sanguinetti Road to the Highway 108 overpass beginning this Friday. The road is being realigned in preparation of the Lowe’s Home Improvement Center.
According to the City of Sonora, the section will remain closed until around Monday, June 21.
Traffic will be diverted during construction and signs will be in place to show the preferred detour.
