$1.8 Million To Repair Roads

Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Supervisors have approved a list of projects that will receive state Proposition 1B funding.

$1.8 million will help fund multiple paving and chip seal projects in the county.

The following roads will be repaved:

-Tuolumne Road, from Morris Road to Turnback Creek
-Greenley Road, from Guzzi Lane to Lyons Street
-Jamestown Road, from Sierra Meadow to Shaws Flat Road
-Campo Seco Road, from Lime Kiln Road to Seco Terrace Drive
-Old Priest Grade, from Highway 120
-Old Wards Ferry Road, from the overpass to the Entrance of the Youth Center
-Dodge Ridge, the parking lot and Chair 5 Road

Chip sealing:

-Priest Coulterville Road, from Highway 120 to the Mariposa County line

Public Works Director Peter Rei noted to the Supervisors that this is the third and final phase of Proposition 1B funding that will be available. To date, the county has already received $2.2 million.
