Search Continues For Robbery Clues

Sonora, CA – The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate a trio of robberies that occurred over recent weeks.

“We don’t know if the same person is responsible, but we think it could be,” says Sgt. Jeff Wilson. “We’re asking anyone that saw anything suspicious to give us a call.”

The incidents are as follows:

Tuesday, April 6, 2010, in the afternoon hours, a male adult entered Lakeridge Inn off Hwy 49 and robbed the business by brandishing a weapon. The suspect concealed his identity by covering his face with a mask.

Thursday, April 15, 2010, at around 8:20 PM, a male adult suspect entered the Fashion Bug store at the Junction Shopping Center and robbed the business with threats of a weapon. This suspect concealed his identity wearing a hooded sweat shirt, mask and, glasses.

Friday, April 16, 2010, at around 8:45 PM, a male suspect entered the Mountain Liquors store located at the Twain Harte Plaza and robbed the business with threats of a weapon. The suspect wore a hooded sweatshirt and concealed his identity with a mask over his face.
