Sonora, CA — A Tuolumne County resident faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon.
23-year-old Sarah Stevens has been arrested by the Sonora Police Department for allegedly stabbing another female with a knife. The two allegedly got into an altercation at a home on Barretta St.
The victim went for medical treatment and the suspect left the scene. The Police Department was able to track down Stevens, with help by the Sheriff’s Department, at a residence in Jamestown.
The investigation is ongoing. The alleged altercation occurred Monday.
