Oklahoma Man Hit By Truck

San Andreas, CA– The CHP has identified the man that was hit by a truck while trying to walk across Hwy 49 Monday morning.
51-year-old Raymond Wilson of Oklahoma was walking with a tent and sleeping back at around 10:30am, when he was hit by a Ford truck driven by Steven Moore of Angels Camp.
CHP Officer Jaime Castillo says Wilson was propelled approximately 80 feet through the air and over a 50 ft. embankment east of the roadway.
Wilson was attended to by emergency personnel and then flown to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto. He reportedly suffered major injuries.
