.22 Caliber Pistol Stolen

Angels Camp, CA — A .22 caliber pistol with a nine inch barrel and a custom elk horn handle was stolen Sunday afternoon.

According to Police Chief Dale Mendenhall the firearm theft took place at 300 S. Main St. at approximately 3pm.

The reporting party and a witness described the perpetrator as a male adult in his 20’s approximately six feet tall wearing a red coat, blue jeans, ski-type goggles and a black ski-mask. He entered the business, removed the weapon and fled northbound on S. Main St.
