Bass Remarks On Public Input
The Tuolumne County Supervisors wrapped up their five public meetings regarding the development of a five year strategic plan on Tuesday evening at Columbia College.
District One Supervisor Liz Bass was Thursday’s KVML “Newsmaker of the Day”.
Bass was pleased and caught by a bit of surprise to see mostly full houses and standing room only crowds.
“I learned something with each and every meeting,” said Bass. “All of us on the Board listened to concerns about jobs, economic development, and protecting the quality of life.”
The Supervisors will now be using the input to create a blueprint for the county over the next five years. Over one thousand entries from the public were submitted via the internet as well.
The “Newsmaker of the Day” is heard each weekday morning on AM 1450 KVML at 6:47, 7:47 and 8:47am.
