Supervisorial Postponement
San Andreas, CA — If you take a look at the Calaveras County supervisorial agenda for Tuesday you will see a scheduled item entitled the discussion of the ’09-’10 mid-year financial report and the upcoming fiscal year ’10-’11 budget.
But CAO Jeanne Boyce comments there has been a change in plans, “We postponed that because we needed some additional time to make sure our financial data was accurate so we moved that to March the 9th.”
But that was not the only reason for the postponement, “We certainly watch what the state is doing every day and the latest information that we had late last week was that there were going to be a couple of items that were going to be taken up by the Senate and the Assembly this week that could have an impact on counties so we wanted to see what actions might be taken that might impact us.”
Tuesday’s meeting will get underway at 9am at the Government Center on Mountain Ranch Rd.
