A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for the Sierra Nevada until 4 pm this afternoon. Then a Winter Weather Advisory will go into effect through 6pm.
Residual snow showers will linger into Sunday morning.
Snow levels will generally be between 4500 and 6000 feet before lowering to 3500 feet late this afternoon and tonight.
Snow showers will be locally concentrated in the Sierra, so total snow accumulation could range anywhere from four inches to two feet.
Winds will gust up to 60 MPH over the higher elevations.
