Long Barn Burglaries
Long Barn, CA — Burglaries were a hot topic at a town hall meeting in Long Barn this week hosted by Tuolumne County Sheriff Jim Mele.
12 burglaries have been reported in the community over the past month, and Mele says it was the main concern addressed by the 25 residents on hand.
“We feel that all of the crimes are related as some of the elements are the same,” says Mele. “We were able to come away with some leads and a better understanding of who could be possible suspects.”
The investigation is ongoing into the burglaries, and Mele says he’s hopeful that there will eventually be an arrest.
