Sound Off District Two

Sponsored by:

Sonora, CA — It’s time to put your thinking caps on and express your opinions.

Tuesday evening at 6:30 at the Willow Springs Club House in Soulsbyville District Two Supervisor Paolo Maffei will host his four peers and members of the public who would like to have input into the formation of an eventual five year Strategic Plan for Tuolumne County.

This will mark the first of five public meetings.

The major questions the Board is seeking input on are as follows: What are the greatest needs within the County right now? What are the highest priority County services? What are the main issues the County should be planning for in the future? How should County leaders go about balancing future budgets?

The second meeting (District One) is set for Tuesday evening, February 2 at 6:30pm in the Supervisorial Chambers at 2 S. Green St. in downtown Sonora with Board Chair Liz Bass the moderator. The next meeting will be hosted by District Three Supervisor Teri Murrison at the “old” Black Oak Elementary School campus at 6:30pm, Tuesday, February 9. The District Four meeting with John Gray hosting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 16 at 6:30pm at the Groveland Community Hall. Fifth District Supervisor Dick Pland will host the final meeting at 6:30pm, February 23 at the Church of the 49er Social Hall in Columbia.

In addition to the supervisors, CAO Craig Pedro, county attorneys and Board Clerk Alicia Jamar will be in attendance at all meetings.
