Another Shot Fired

Valley Springs, CA — What may have been another random shooting occured Monday evening.

According to Sgt. Dave Seawell from the Sheriff’s Department one shot was fired at 7:50pm. The reporting party lives on Dunn Rd. That individual told deputies the shot sounded as though it came from Hwy 26.

Investigators have no idea whether this single shot is related in any way to the series of random shootings that started December 16.

Seawell adds that it is extremely important that any pertinent information regarding these shootings be reported immediately to either the Sheriff’s Department (209-754-6500) or the A.T.F. (1-800-ATF-GUNS). Seawell commented that some reports have come hours, even days after the incident.
