How To Spend $449,000

Sonora, CA — $449,000 has now been made available in Regional Transportation Enhancements (TE) Program funds to eligible projects.

The TE Program funds transportation-related capital improvement projects that enhance the quality of life in or around transportation facilities. Projects must be over and above required mitigation and normal transportation projects and the project must be directly related to the transportation system.

The projects should have a quality of life benefit while providing the greatest benefit to the greatest number of people. Projects must be within the twelve eligibility categories of the TE program.

Project Concept Reports for proposed TE projects are due at the close of business day January 25, 2010.
