Pixar Writing Workshop This Saturday
The Central Sierra Arts Council is hosting “The Magic of Pixar Writing Workshop,” this Saturday.
Hollywood Screenwriter Alexander Stuart was Thursday’s KVML “Newsmaker of the Day”.
Stuart will host the two hour seminar on Saturday from 11am to 1pm. Tickets are $25 – and $10 for students.
Stuart is a California-based, British-born screenwriter and novelist, whose books have been translated into eight languages and published in the US, Britain, Europe, Israel and throughout the world.
During the 1990s, he moved to Miami Beach, where he wrote Life On Mars, and taught screenwriting at the University of Miami. Stuart has also worked as a journalist all over the world, as a movie publicist and briefly ran a film and theater production company in London.
Stuart is proud to be a new resident to the Motherlode, after moving earlier this year from the greater Los Angeles area, and looks forward to integrating himself into the community.
