Vandalism In Angels Camp

Angels Camp, CA– The Angels Camp Police Department is looking for more information regarding $4,150 in damage to nine homes in the Angels Camp area.

Starting at approximately 8:30pm on Saturday, a window was broken in the 500 block of Amador Avenue. By 9:30pm several other windows were broken in areas of Greenhorn Creek subdivision, Finnegan Lane and Gold Cliff Road.

The nine victims had their home or vehicle windows broken by a medium sized ball bearing projectile fired from a sling shot or similar device. There were no reports of firearms being discharged from any of the neighborhoods involved.

Only one victim reported seeing a vehicle leaving the area after an incident. The witness described seeing a full-sized white diesel pick-up, unknown make, with a chrome tool box behind the cab.

The Angels Camp Police Department is requesting that anyone with any information related to these crimes contact Officer David Scarborough at 736-2567.
