Minnesota Man Seriously Injured

Sponsored by:

Chinese Camp, CA — The CHP has now identified the man that sustained major injuries in a Monday vehicle accident on Highway 120 east of Shawmut Road.

33-year-old Keyle Glinsey of Richfield Minnesota was attempting to pass 53-year-old Ian Morcott of Jamestown shortly after the two had cleared a construction zone. The CHP says Glinsey’s right front tire hit the rear fender of Morcott’s 2001 Volvo. Glinsey’s 2012 Nissan went off the road and collided with a Caltrans construction sign and the perimeter fence.

CHP Officer Mike Remmel says Glinsey was flown to Memorial Hospital in Modesto because of major head trauma. It is not immediately known if the injuries are life-threatening. The accident was reported at 8:27am.
